The new emergency unit at El Carmen Medical Center in Ourense has the most modern facilities and a highly professional medical team.
Located in the center of the city of Ourense, at Avenida Habana 52, the emergency room serves Ourense residents 24 hours a day, with a team of personnel and technology that ensures fast and effective intervention for any emergency.
The hospital emergency unit is composed of:
- 4 emergency patient care rooms
- Nurses’ station
- Emergency medical consultations
- Emergency room radiology
- Emergency operating room
- Triage
- Patient waiting room
This unit consists of a double doctor-support team 24 hours a day, both to attend pediatric emergencies (assisted by four specialist doctors in pediatrics) and general emergency medicine.
